Harder Ores[]
Name | Recipe | Description |
---|---|---|
Millstone | Grinds raw ore and other items into dust. Acts as an ore multiplier.
Aside from ores, reeds, as well as wheat and seeds can be ground into sugar and flour respectively. Seeds grind into only a tiny amount, but is still good for consuming the excess. You will need 9 to build the mill (each craft gets you 9). | |
Axel | Used to power the millstone.
The windmill is not a true power source and will not transfer energy to any other power system. You will need 4 to build the mill (each craft gets you 2). | |
Windvane | Catches wind, needed to power the millstone.
The windmill is not a true power source and will not transfer energy to any other power system. You will need 8 to build the mill (each craft gets you 2). | |
Dust Piles |
9 tiny piles make one large pile. Tiny Dusts will smelt into nuggets, large dust will smelt into ingots. | |
Sifter |
Automatically combines tiny piles of dust into large piles in an 8:1 ratio.
The sifter will automatically pick up any sift-able items on top of it. Bonemeal is considered sift-able, but will not combine (1:1 input to output) as to not clog the sifter when setting up automations. | |
Sluice | Sluices consume gravel and sand and may find ore nuggets, dusts, or flint.
You can place up to four in a row. | |
Pressure Packager |
Like the sifter, but it combines items into blocks, coal into coal block, snowballs into snow, snow into ice, etc. Primary usage implementation is to convert ore chunks into a block for Rotary Craft. Requires a windmill to operate. | |
Stone tools (with Gany's Surface) |
Predictable crafting recipe, except that it uses diorite instead of cobble stone. This is true for the other stone tools, except the sword, which can be made using any cobblestone. With Harder Underground, this uses diorite cobble. | |
Diamond Studded Tools | Diamond studded tools are significantly cheaper than diamond tools and mine the same blocks, but have lower durability and very low enchantability. |

Thermometer | Displays the current temperature at your location. If WAILA is installed and the thermometer is placed in an item frame, you will get precise readouts.
Right-clicking on a crop block will display the relative temperature for that crop. I.e. if used on melons, the ideal middle-value is adjusted higher so that moderate temperatures, which are too cool for melons, show as cold and vice versa. Right click on any other block to reset, or another crop to change the linkage. | |
Hydrometer | Displays the current rainfall at your location. If WAILA is installed and the hydrometer is placed in an item frame, you will get precise readouts.
Right-clicking on a crop block will display the relative humidity for that crop. I.e. if used on carrots, the ideal middle-value is adjusted lower so that moderate rain amounts, which are too wet for carrots, show as high and vice versa. Right click on any other block to reset, or another crop to change the linkage. | |
Tanning Rack | The tanning rack cures rawhide into leather. |
